If you are under the age of 18, you MUST complete the 4-hour TLSAE course before July 1, 2025.
The FLHSMV will allow NO EXCEPTIONS for minors.
Relax! You can complete the rest of the permit/licensing process after July 1, 2025.
Beginning July 1, 2025, there will be a new 6-hour course required for minors. See FAQ.
   
This deadline applies only to minors. Adults will still use this course.
